siglap harmony circle interfaith dialogue
date: sunday, 21 august 2022 | time: 2 - 4 pm
venue: siglap community centre
After 2 and a half year's break (due to Covid pandemic), Siglap Harmony Circle (SHC) was able to restart its popular Interfaith Dialogue today. It is the 1st SHC interfaith dialogue held at the new Community Centre. If the name was not changed to SHC, it would have been Siglap IRCC 6th Interfaith Dialogue.
Sixty participants attended this sharing by 2 minority religions at the Siglap CC. The speakers from both The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and Shinnyo-en articulated on the basic tenets of their religion. It was followed by a robust Q&A session with the audience.
The event was graced by our Advisor Dr Maliki Osman who shared on the importance for our citizens to live harmoniously together in an inclusive society. Feedback was solicited from the participants to allow us to improve our future Interfaith Dialogue.
