About 55 religious and grassroot leaders attended this interfaith networking session organised by Siglap IRCC at Amazing Grace Presybeterian Church this morning. The GOH was our Advisor, Senior Minister of State Dr. Mohd Maliki Osman. He shared with us the threat of ISIS in the Middle East and their intention to form a ISIS caliph in South East Asia. This is a serious threat to our region's security and to the safety of Singapore. As such, we need to maintain constant vigilance and play an active role in helping to ensure racial harmony within the various races in our country. The event was attended by religious organisations from Siglap and its RC and NC grassroot leaders. It allowed them the opportunity to network with each other and to be able to respond coherently in time of crisis.
