ground sensing workshop
date: saturday, 2 july16 | time: 9am - 1pm
venue: Toa payoh safra
IRCC organised this workshop at Toa Payoh SAFRA this morning to equip their members with the necessary know-how to better understand ground issues and manage racially-charged situations before it escalates. Accurate ground sensing is key to understanding ground issues and participants were taught a framework to perform this task effectively.
The programme for this workshop included:
1) Why is Singapore particularly vulnerable to racial issues?
2) Barriers and fault lines resulting from these issues.
3) The critical steps to handle racial issues.
4) Communication Reinforcement - at a quick glance.
5) 6 Steps for Accurate Sensing.
Participants were taught the necessary steps for accurate ground sensing. There were also interactive role-plays based on real-life case studies.
