siglap ircc - Appointment Ceremony

Dr. Maliki presented certificates of appointment to members of Siglap IRCC for the new term (1st April 2015 to 31st March 2017). He welcomed new members to Siglap IRCC and spent time explaining to all members on their role to the community. It includes 3 main areas i.e.
a) Outreach to residents - building trust and racial harmony
b) Developing capability such as mediation and media spokespersonship
c) Operational readiness & emergency preparedness e.g. Table Top Exercises (TTXs), Inject-Based Exercises (IBXs) and Scenario-Based Exercises (SBXs).
All the exercises help to reinforce IRCC's resource capacity, operation plans and procedures in managing crises with racial and religious overtones.
