Faiths in harmony - National IRCC workshop 2014
Date: 6 September 2014; Time: 9 am - 12 pm
Venue: Concorde Hotel
Since the repositioning of the Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circles (IRCCs) in early 2007, the IRCCs have achieved a lot through various efforts in promoting inter-racial/inter-religious harmony.
As part of MCCY's ongoing efforts to deepen the engagement with religious organisations, the above forum was organised to update participants on the progress and new initiatives undertaken by the IRCCs. The event also provided a platform for participants to network, enhance and promote inter-faith friendship across religious communities. Participants were encouraged to exchange ideas and share experiences with one another during the break out discussions.
The Guest of Honour was Mr. Sam Tan Chin Siong (Minister of State, Prime Minister's Office and MCCY)
