date: saturday, 25 november 2017 | time: 10 am - 6 pm
venue: siglap community centre
In the 2nd instalment of the Training programme on Fostering Harmony Efforts at South East District, a full day of training was conducted and participants were taught how to build trust, full value commitment, exploring interfaith engagement as well as given an introduction to the Interfaith scene in Singapore. They were also taught interfaith dialogue facilitation skills and introduced to various faiths which included Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and Humanism. A frank discussion on the various interfaith ensued and it was heartening to see that most of the interfaith leaders were young. A hands-on practice on facilitation was conducted and it was followed by discussion on key issues within the community. More than 40 IRCC participants from Braddell Heights, MacPherson, Marine Parade and Siglap attended the full day training at Siglap CC.
